Raha is an advocacy strategist, lobbyist, and lawyer with over 15 years of experience designing, leading, and implementing human rights advocacy campaigns. At NILC, Raha leads the Strategy & Partnerships department, a talented team of advocates that run campaigns, build coalitions, and advocate for the interests of immigrant communities with lawmakers and government officials at the federal, state, and local levels.
Before coming to NILC, Raha served as the Advocacy Director at Physicians for Human Rights and Senior Director for Government Relations at Human Rights First. He has a J.D. from Georgetown Law School and an undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he majored in Finance and Political Science.
When not at work, you can find Raha gardening, traveling, playing and designing board games, and DJ’ing and producing immersive events and experiences.
