Will Dempster leads the planning and execution of NILC’s communication operations, including media and digital strategy. He plays a key role in advancing the organization’s strategic priorities and amplifying the stories of low-income immigrants and their loved ones.
Will has over 15 years of experience confronting and solving complex communications challenges in the public and private sectors. Prior to joining NILC, Will served as communications director for U.S. Senator Mazie K. Hirono of Hawaii, as press secretary for U.S. Senator Mary Landrieu of Louisiana, and in a number of senior roles at strategic communications consultancies.
Outside of work, Will is an avid hiker and bowler. His high game is 290.
