Muzna oversees NILC’s Executive Office, leads the work of the Executive Leadership and Senior Leadership teams, and serves as an essential thought partner to the President. She leads key initiatives across the organization, from planning the staff retreat to the Community of Managers. In her work with NILC’s leadership teams, Muzna addresses high-level issues across a wide range of activities, assesses situations, recommends appropriate responses, and ensures the team has met its internal and external commitments.
She has almost two decades of experience in the nonprofit, philanthropy, and public sectors, including working for the New York Immigration Coalition, the Open Society Foundations, and the New York City Council. She graduated from the Wagner School of Public Service at New York University with a Master’s in Public Administration. She completed her undergraduate studies in Economics and Human Rights at Barnard College, Columbia University.
