Karla is part of NILC’s litigation and advocacy practices. She supports matters aimed at protecting and advancing the rights of immigrants and their families through healthcare, education, and access to status.
Prior to NILC, Karla worked as a litigation paralegal in the private sector, where she focused on various matters including bankruptcy, arbitration, and immigration. Karla holds an A.B. in History from Harvard University.
Karla enjoys finding the best Mexican food in whatever city she travels to and hiking with her doodle Osie.
