Gabrielle works on increasing access to health care for low-income immigrants. Her work includes analyzing and communicating laws and regulations, drafting comments on regulatory proposals, training varied audiences, writing reports, and providing technical support to state and local advocates. In addition to her health care work, she participates in NILC’s Workers’ Rights and DACA teams.
Gabrielle has been engaged in long-term efforts to expand health care eligibility in California and other states and was an author of NILC’s special report series, “On the Path Toward Health for All.” She earned a JD from the University of Wisconsin Law School and was a Skadden Fellow.
When not at work, Gabrielle fabricates silver jewelry and continues her perpetual study of Spanish.
