Case Overview
This FOIA lawsuit challenges ICE’s failure to produce records related to the administration’s alarming increase in unlawful removals of people with pending immigration cases, stays of deportation, and court ordered protections. These removals violate immigration laws and have forced people to live in fear or even in hiding in countries they had fled to seek safety in the United States.
Plaintiffs and co-counsel for the case are the National Immigration Law Center, Amica Center for Immigrants Rights, and the National Immigration Project.
