NILC and United We Dream cohosted a webinar on March 2, 2016, titled “Taxes & DACA: What Do I Need to Know?”
Presenters answered questions about how to file your taxes correctly, where to get help filing, and who is eligible for certain tax credits. They also cleared up confusion about the Affordable Care Act’s “individual mandate” — the Obamacare “tax penalty” or “individual shared responsibility provision” — and whether it applies to people who have DACA.
