Seeking asylum is a fundamental human and legal right. Yet thousands of Haitians who suffered devastating natural disasters and political violence are being dehumanized, denied due process, and forcibly returned to the very dangers they fled. This is unlawful and morally wrong. 

President Biden was elected by a multigenerational, multiracial coalition on a campaign promise to undo harm caused by the last administration, which decimated the systems set up to protect people seeking safety. Instead of striving to keep that promise, the Biden administration has doubled down on a failed and inhumane strategy of deterrence and is defending some of the Trump policies it pledged to end.  Join us in calling on President Biden to stop deportations to Haiti.
