RESOURCE FOR ADVOCATES | E-Verify: State-specific Facts

THE FACT SHEETS available here (all PDFs) provide information about the economic impact that requiring all employers to use the federal government’s electronic employment eligibility verification system, E-Verify, would have in 12 states.
We thank the following organizations for their help in researching and producing six of the fact sheets:  Immigration Policy Center (fact sheets for North Carolina, Virginia, and West Virginia); National Council of La Raza (Ohio); and National Immigration Forum (Florida and New Hampshire).
Advocates who want MS Word files of any of these pieces, in order to be able to adapt them more easily for advocacy purposes, may contact NILC’s Mai P. Lam Huynh (huynh@nilc.org) to arrange to receive the relevant computer file(s).
