NILC chart:
"Comparison of Employment Eligibility Verification System Proposals in the Border Protection, Antiterrorism, and Illegal Immigration Control Act of 2005 (HR 4437) and the Comprehensive Immigration and Reform Act of 2006 (S 2611)"

Immigrants' Rights Update, Vol. 20, No. 3, August 17, 2006

HR 4437, which passed the U.S. House of Representatives on Dec. 16, 2005, includes its employment eligibility verification system proposal in Title VII of the bill.  The Senate immigration reform bill, S 2611, which passed the Senate on May 25, 2006, includes its parallel proposal in Title III.  As its title suggests, this chart provides a side-by-side comparison of the proposals in the two bills.
