INS SUBMITS NACARA SUSPENSION FORM TO THE OFFICE OF MANAGEMENT AND BUDGET

The Immigration and Naturalization Service has submitted to the Office of Management and Budget a proposed form to be used for suspension and special cancellation applications under the Nicaraguan Adjustment and Central American Relief Act of 1997 (NACARA). The form, I-881, Application for Suspension of Deportation or Special Rule Cancellation of Removal (Pursuant to Public Law 105-100), is to be used by INS asylum officers to adjudicate NACARA cases. Comments on the form must be received by July 7, 1998.
